Many contractors carry out small or minor works, which usually means dealing with a high volume of low value works which can be an administrative challenge. The contractor or client representatives or both, will need to provide condition surveys of the client’s assets and prepare Job Requests when maintenance or repair work is required. The Small Works Orders module provides the ability to manage this process in an efficient and standardised manner.
Within WebContractor, the receipt of the Job Request is the start of a process of recording and tracking that work needs to be carried out, through to the issue of a detailed Work Order Instruction to a subcontractor to execute the works. Progress of the completion of the works is tracked with WebContractor collecting all the necessary documents to evidence the successful completion of the works.
WebContractor will manage the matching and approval of the subcontractor invoice and submits an approved subcontractor invoice message to the contractor’s back-office system for payment.
